The Pine Ridge Reconciliation Center hosts a range of Cultural Immersion activities for visitors like us, such as beading bracelets, weaving dreamcatchers, visiting historic sites and local schools, attending local powwows, and meeting with community leaders and artists, just to name a few. During our trip, one important requirement we have for all volunteers is to take part in these opportunities to learn from this community.
